General Physics incorporated June 6, 2018. From humble beginnings at the University of California, Berkeley Physics Department to the California Institute for Quantitative Biosciences (QB3) our philosophy has been a mix of biological realism and advanced mathematical modeling. We strive to serve the needs of the b2b customer, or whatever customer is looking for financials, metrics, business models, physical models, or general consulting.
Our Story
The startup landscape of California is a great place to meet. Here, the General Physics leadership team founded the company and turned the workings of academic physics into a hybrid socio-economic force. With emails, webcasts, podcasts, notes, in person meetings, and the blog, we approach any subject in engineering, biophysics, high energy physics, and condensed matter physics. Of course, we can pivot our expertise to meet the demands of any client. Our most recent interests are in the fields of pluripotent stem cells (from Berkeley Bioengineering), multi-dimensional Hilbert space filling curve phased array radar (Zurich Instruments), shipbuilding (NEMO, Feadship), and the design of a novel neutral beam injector (Consorzio RFX).
