Disaster Relief in Venezuela, Colombia, and Indonesia

There have been a string of earthquakes in our world in the last few weeks. In response to this challenge, General Physics is offering its services in cost engineering and logistics to the teams on the ground. Additionally, partnerships with Doctors without Borders, UNHCR, and Amnesty International are geared not only to win hearts and minds, but to cure real world problems.

These countries, beyond their political beliefs, are our people, our neighbors, and our friends. We cannot let them suffer. Most of the world has inadequate infrastructure. From the fires in California caused by dated power lines, dilapidated buildings unable to withstand earthquakes in Turkey, or even the lack of medical facilities in subSaharan Africa, our world in under threat beyond poltiical and social conflict. It is so important to make peace because, quite frankly, our world is fragile and there is so much that can go wrong. Fires, floods, earthquakes, and disease threaten our world.

General Physics is likely going to use sophisticated computer algorithms to mobilize local and global supply chains to service the immediate and long term needs of communities hit by disaster. In addition to medical supplies, building materials, construction equipment, loans and loan guarantees might help the effective solutions for relief. Reconnecting families and providing quick pointed aid might alleviate suffering as well. What we have to do is focus on a scientific approach. We have to think of the need to move supply ships into safe harbors, organize on the ground efforts to distribute water and food, get refugees into housing and stable social situations, then connect the dots in the long term humanistic plan. At the end of the day, the human form is mission critical. Our world cannot succumb to a techno focused and alienated world. Let's focus on real solutions to disaster relief.
